Filled with attitude, the new single ‘Hey Boi!’ by hip-hop hybrid HELMAUD and his long-time pal DIXIE, is sure to give you goosebumps of the good variety. HELMAUD is the award winner of the Jazz à Saint-Germain-des-Prés festival (2008), and since then has seen himself producing music for the likes of world-renowned names like Vogue, Elle, and Tiffany & Co. 

Previously featured on Dave Rave, they add their thoughts on the single, “‘Hey Boi!’ is intoxicating with its melodic flow by HELMAUD and fearless attitude in the vocals delivered by the charming DIXIE that is able to liven up any party playlist.”

HELMAUD speaks about the collaboration with DIXIE, “On ‘HEY BOI !’ Half of the vocals have been recorded after midnight and on an average of 3-4  bottles of wine and 2 grams of weed, an empty wine bottle was used as the support for the mic. Starting around 11pm with H E L M A U D finding this « 2000’s hip hop Dre’s nod » riff on the piano. The whole song was bounced in 4-5 hours tops.”

‘Hey Boi!’ is a fun party song, whether the party is for one or not. This track is vibrant and has  the energy to overpower any mood and room.
