Let’s slow things down a bit, with the gorgeously authentic ‘Wake’ from Ro Bergman, released today via Bergman Music and Las Vegas Records. While a little further into the indie territory than we usually venture into, the positive lyrics and catchy beat quickly wiggled their way into our hearts. The single is also accompanied by a live video at Rockhouse Salzburg and is taken from his upcoming EP Hi-Lo which will be released on the 18th of June.

Ahead of the EP, Ro Bergman has also released Animal and ‘Yes, Yeah’, both of which are taken from Hi-Lo. While both songs display his unique range, we’re also looking forward to hearing the unreleased track ‘It’s Alright’, which we’re expecting will provide a great source of comfort when needed. While, at this point, it’s all simply guesswork, we’re definitely glad Ro Bergman made his way into our speakers with his latest single.

The Austrian musician further elaborates on ‘Wake’: “My goal was to write something that was more than just a corona-anthem, but right now the longing for anything more than a prolonged house-arrest is especially present in my mind. I started to dream in a new way, that was more beautiful than strange and I woke hungry for living”
