Pressing forth and onward, duo TGC bring a ray of light to their listeners ear with latest single ‘Sophie’. Consisting of musicians Marlow Bevan & Milla Fay Sunde the duo have produced memorable electro-pop gems together for the past decade. ‘Sophie’ will feature on the duo’s upcoming album release Parallels via Illuminated City on the 25th of May. While we wait for the album, you can get lost in ‘Sophie’s jovial & escapist haze that will leave you listening on repeat.
When not producing music, the duo loves spreading joy through their charity The Green Foundation. ‘Sophie’ embodies that feeling of finding hope and joy when one is in pain or discomfort. Much like their philanthropic endeavours, this latest track feels like a comforting embrace to its listener. Through the use of cosmic and theatrical landscapes, one is mentally transported to distant spaces and times.
Marlow previously shared his excitement about the upcoming release on socials, and new ventures beyond TGC :“Hello from lockdown in London! Milla and I managed to get separated over the holidays, but our album is finished and on the way!! We’re excited for a more active 2021 and to reconnect with you all I’ve also started a new Instagram account, if you’re interested in a little poetry this year, find me @marlowbevan”
TGC previously featured on Reverbs with their track ‘Echo/ Bad Side’.
