A sultry and seductive R&B slow-burner combines a pristine beat by accomplished producer-turned-artist KYO! with Rozee‘s smooth, emotional vocal performance.
Los Angeles-based producer and engineer KYO! has worked with established artists such as Usher, Kevin Gates, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sevyn Streeter, Max & Lenny Santos (Aventura) and more.
He’s now taking full control of his talents and releasing music under his own name. His debut single, “Alone” features singer-songwriter Rozee, who wrote for Leona Lewis in 2019 on her track with Cali Y El Dandee and Juan Magan titled “Solo Quiero (Somebody to Love).” With the release of his debut single, “Alone,” KYO! demonstrates his expertise in the R&B/Soul genre, but plans to prove that he is a multifaceted producer capable of conquering all genres and sounds with his future releases.
Artist’s words about the songs:
“The song was originally made for Kelly Rowland from Destiny’s Child, but she took a hiatus from music. This was the reason the song wasn’t released with her voice on it. The song came out dope either way – Rozee was originally the reference singer, but it sounded like her song so it was meant to sound perfect either way.”
“When I was called in to produce for Kelly Rowland, me and my girlfriend at the time were having trouble in our relationship. So, when I made the beat I let it all out, which resulted in this amazing piece of work. This song is special to me because it came from the heart and it’s the foundation of my career as a producer who took his career into his own hands.”
