Business-savvy musician Jacob Lee released his latest single ‘Sick & Tired’ on the 2nd of December under Philosophical Records. Jacob is the creative author of both Lowly Labs and Philosophical Records and he cites an upcoming album cunningly titled Lowly Lyricist.

‘Sick & Tired’ is driven by thought-provoking lyrics that are tainted by a humourous element that is relatable to many people. There are days and moments that produce little or no joy in the life of an individual and Jacob has successfully captured the negative and exhaustive emotions involved in this bewilderment when he sings: “Watching people work just to retire” and “Watching as the world lights up in fire”. The songwriter is correct in his lamentation about the empty pursuit of money and the constant destruction of the earth because living should rejuvenate and replenish the soul. 

Jacob Lee shares his thoughts on the conceptual underpinning of the new single: “Sick & Tired’ could be one of my most important songs yet. Iterating my perspective on the modern world, I packaged this essential message in a chill, ethereal track”.
