Have you ever listened to a song that feels like a virtual hug? We have with music producer Jerry Folk’s latest chill pop track ‘Ferris Wheel ft. Alva Ravn’. The song shares lyrics of grief and healing in one entire song. The producer has been switching up genres with all his previous hits like ‘Everything’ which took a downtempo route and ‘Dotted Red’ which shocked many with its jungle influences. This release, like the several before, will feature on Folk and his side project FENGSEL’s upcoming album release later this year. While we wait for this noteworthy album which is the first album release for Jerry, we gaze at the stars while we hear songstress Alva Ravn linger in the background of this track with her lullaby-esque vocals.

Folk previously featured on RCRD LBL with the track ‘On My Way (ft. Bearson)’, the suitable energetic indie-pop anthem for an all-nighter. Though ‘Ferris Wheel’ circles back to pop, we are torn as to which track should be at the top of our playlist? ‘Ferris Wheel’ clutches the chest within the first few seconds as your pulse rate increases from listening to Ravn’s inviting vocals and Folk’s ability to set the tone for it like clockwork as he does for every collaboration.
