Vibrant & lively songstress, Eulene’s debut self-titled EP is a work of electro-pop and poetry, featuring the noteworthy song ‘Let It Roll’. The singer had an impressive team behind the EP including Grammy-nominated mixing engineer Erik Madrid who has worked with the likes of critically acclaimed pop acts ZAYN, Demi Lovato, Charli XCX.
Unfiltered and untamed, Eulene’s single ‘Let It Roll’ is an easy listen nonetheless. With undeniable strength that is transferred even in the most intimate of tracks on her new EP, Eulene shows that she can be both strong and vulnerable in one key. This single, in particular, is a fearless message about resilience and not giving up in the face of adversity.
Elaborating further on the EP direction with The Playground (read interview), Eulene commented: “Weaving & blending genres was the color palate of the vision. Eliminating the standard way I wrote for years with a guitar in hand was the one requirement I put on myself and requested of my co-writer Angelo, to instead to write from & with rhythms. Other than that, there were no default settings for any one of the songs. The songs informed me of what to bring to them. Angelo and I took our time experimenting to find just the right “voicings” for each song.”
