“Heartless” feels a bit more like a pop ballad with country themes than an actual country song, with Diplo’s hip-hop-inspired production sitting nicely beneath Wallen’s heartbroken lyrics. The track itself is already racking up streams and is quite popular among Diplo’s diverse fan base and beyond.
Diplo is always working on something new, and this latest venture into more country-oriented sound under the Thomas Wesley alias will undoubtedly be a successful side project for him.
