Please describe your sound for us.

Happy, uplifting, energetic feel-good vibes. Warm pianos, lush basslines with catchy vocal hooks.

How did it all start for you?

Back N Fourth started back in 2018. We released our first original track independently called ‘Need Your Love’ and it gained radio support from superstar DJ James Hype on Kiss FM. From here on in we knew we were onto something, so we started making remixes for top liner artists with official ones in the bag for pop superstars Anne Marie & Charlie XCX on Universal/Atlantic records. Our remixes gained heavy support on BBC Radio 1, Capital FM, Kiss & globally. We have continued our graft with our aim to start making more original music. Now we are really happy to say we have signed a major 3 single deal with Relentless Records / Sony Music. Keep an eye out for our upcoming releases.

Which three artists would you say made you want to create your own music?

Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, Mark Knight. Hugh fans of house music growing up and these artists definitely inspired us when we started out. Legends in the game.

What is your go-to gear/equipment when creating?

Ableton push is a great piece of kit to start jamming along combined with the Roland tr8 drum machine. We can get ideas and grooves laid down quickly.

What are some of your key influences in your music? Whether it be the sound created by others, imagery, films or any kind of art form.

Our music is inspired by early ‘90s house, RnB & hip hop.

What is one sub-genre you think doesn’t get the attention it deserves?

Progressive house. We loved it growing up and it inspired us to make music. It was more popular over 15 years ago with the likes of Deadmau5, Sasha, Sebastian Ingrosso, Ferry Corsten, Fedde Le Grand etc. Would love to see it make a comeback.

Any new or upcoming artists on your radar?

Disclaimr, Bytes & Kyle Meehan are some artists we have our eye on.

What single night out has been the most memorable for you? As a performer? As an attendee?

Tomorrowland 2019 was out of this world and an amazing experience for us.

What can we expect from you in the near future? Any upcoming projects in the pipeline that you would like to tell us about?

We have lots of new music to be released. We are working with some really talented singers/songwriters in the industry. We cannot wait for you to hear.

Famous last words?

If you’re a producer starting out, don’t overcomplicate things… Keep the material consistent and relevant. Stay true to what music you love making and eventually you will get noticed.
